My name is Marina Woodward.
I am 22 years old.
Freshly graduated from college.
A mormon.
I used to write on a blog over here, but life got busy and time was scarce.
I also needed a change.
So now that I am graduated and moving onto the next adventure of my life, this new blog was born.
However, I decided to keep the name of my blog the same and here's why.
Back in 2002 the song "Soak Up the Sun" by Sheryl Crow came out. The first time I heard it playing on the radio I fell in love and couldn't stop listening. It soon became my song. As I grew, the song remained my favorite. I felt it described my happy, positive attitude perfectly. It was also a reminder to always look up, lighten up, and enjoy every second of this life. That has become my motto. This world has so much to offer, we need to make the most of every moment and always look for the positive.
So that is why I am writing.
I am writing to share how happy we can be in this world.
I recognize that life is rough sometimes. We need to experience heartache and sadness in order to appreciate the good.
But we should never dwell on the bad.
I want to enjoy every moment
I want to help others look up and see the good.
I want to soak up the sun.
2 Nephi 2:27
Adam fell that men might be, men are that they might have joy.
